A Neat Trick to Increase Productivity by 300%

On the turn of this new decade @marj_galangco and I agreed that we would look for opportunity this year to have as much fun as possible whilst working hard on our multiple web-based businesses.

Here's a neat trick to do that:

Create balance.

Since I've incorporated more socializing, more reading, more travelling, more exercise and more healthier food choices into my lifestyle, it's like the universe has just started bending further towards my desires.

I'm not joking either. From opportunities to work with multi-national businesses to guest posting for one of the biggest social media blogs on the net, to getting to work on projects with some of the industry leaders, to being in talks to be featured on one of the biggest online magazines - it's all happening this year... and I attribute it to the fact that I've created balance in the pursuit of fun.

We're here on this earth in our current form for a reason. We are here to experience life. So how does sitting behind a desk all day translate? Pretty poorly if you ask me.

Create balance and see your productivity blow up, literally.

Breaking Free from The Shackles of Your Business

If you're a business owner, you'll know that once things get moving and clients start coming on board, your free time can be reduced to negative numbers - you're literaly working non-stop but never managing to get anything finished or at least to the standard you want to.

One of the most liberating business experiences you can have is to successfully leverage the time and resources of good, trustworthy, effective people.

You have to understand that if you want to expand your business and improve upon it, you cannot be doing everything in it.

Perfectionists have this problem. I was a perfectionist and I realized that in order to reach my lofty goals I needed to ditch my label and set some new standards. Nothing can be perfect and it doesn't need to be.

Start looking for people today that can do the things you don't like doing or that are holding you back from spending more time on strategy and direction.

You shouldn't be working IN your business - you should be working ON your business.
