What Am I Thankful For?
This was originally the prep for a post that @BuzzEdition made about a week ago or less, http://www.bitrebels.com/lifestyle/what-are-you-thankful-for/ <
Basically Susan came to me and asked me like she did the others, what was I most grateful for. Being the overachiever that I am (#hrhr) and realizing that there was more than one facet in my life in which I was grateful, I decided to break it up into the following.
It's nice if you can relate :)
------
Spiritual
------------
- I am grateful for the universe, for without it the world as we know could not exist.
- I am grateful for love, for without it our actions would hold no meaning.
- I am grateful for my life, for without it I would not be here to experience that love.
- I am grateful for you, for without you I would not be able to share the love I experience.
Physical
-------------
- I am grateful for mortality - it teaches us to cherish life in all its fragility and work to experience the best of that which we are capable.
- I am grateful for the body that is my vehicle of expression.
- I am grateful for nature, in all its wisdom, that nurtures, guides and teaches us about synergy and communion.
- I am grateful for my times of poor health, that feed the reason to live a life of abundant health so as to flourish as nature intended.
Psychological
-------------------
- I am grateful for failure, for without it I would have not tasted the beauty of success.
- I am grateful for suffering, for without it we would not know the serenity that comes before and after the fact.
- I am grateful for empathy - a precursor to endless, wonderful acts of kindness.
- I am grateful for the endeavor to grow and contribute more. The recognition that we are all intrinsically connected - that we are all indeed, the same life.
