Feel Good More - Have More Success

Seems like a pretty silly statement:

"Feel good more and you'll have more success".

But that's exactly what I've noticed over the past year.

When I've felt down I've ended up bringing into my life all of the things that I didn't want.

When I've felt great, it's almost as if the universe has aligned and opportunity and chance have knocked on every door.

Cheesy? Yes. True? Hell yes.

You ever heard something like "it's not how many times you fall over but how quickly you get back up"?

Well of course the world won't be peachy constantly. It's our job in life to experience things both good and bad - but the trick is to learn from the negative stuff so that we can experience more of the positive stuff.

This year things have just seemed to work out for me - from getting opportunities to consult with multi-national brands, to brainstorming product launches with real internet marketing heavyweights, to being accepted to write for socialmediaexaminer and the Huffington Post.

I say these things not to bragg but to drive it home - all of these things happened because I focused on the good stuff and kept my life in balance.

And that's the key right there - balance.

Keeping balance is how you get to manage your thoughts and emotions so that you promote well being.

Keep your life in balance my friend and your life will be filled with "goodness" and "success".

London Tweetup 27th Feb 2010 @ 2pm - All Welcome

Alright look this isn't just limited to Twitter users, even though I think it's the best darn social network (Facebook fans sit down, I'm just playing... sheesh).

If you're reading this you're invited to a casual get together that @tweetmaker and I have organized.

If you're not sure what a tweetup is - I'm not either. This will be my first. Rest assured though, it's going to be casual and it's going to be fun. We're not going to be talking about anything specific - we'd just like to meet you, have a few laughs, eat some good food and maybe tweet now and again on our teeny-weeny mobile phones to tell the world about the muffins we just ordered.

The tweetup is going to be held here:

The destination was hand-picked by the lovely @catty of the infamous http://www.thecattylife.com/ site.

See you there?

Calling all SMB's, Startups and Solopreneurs

Cover-finished

@marj_galangco and I have been spending the last few weeks working hard at getting this 80 page book to come to fruition.

From experience, we know how confusing and daunting it can all be when you first start out trying to sell products or services over the internet.

We wanted to offer people just starting out marketing online, something that would clarify the different routes that were available to them and some helpful information about each.

We feel that the quality of this free offering is rarely found and we're happy to be putting it up for grabs on the easisell.com site tomorrow.

So whether you're a startup business or a lone wolf, you may want to check it out.

Thanks :)

The Two Teams of Life: Truth Seekers & Convenience Seekers

I break this life down into two teams - truth seekers and convenience seekers.

The difference between the two is as follows:

The truth seeker asks things like "is it possible for me to have financial abundance?" and off he goes to find it out.

The convenience seeker asks things like "how do I manage my life so that I keep my effort to a minimum?" because to the convenience seeker, hard work (or change) is uncomfortable.

Playing on either team will cost you. The price is different for each.

To play on the truth seeker team you must pay the price of constant change, constant challenge and constant criticism.

To play on the convenience seeker team you must pay the price of psychological, physical, emotional and financial stagnation.

On which team are you playing? If you want to play on the other side, can you afford to?
